BroadCast- The World Health Organization indicated that some countries are experiencing "slight increases" in cases of coronavirus infection while reducing isolation measures, stressing the need for people to continue to protect themselves from the virus.
WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris told reporters at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, according to Reuters:"With regard to slight upward trends, yes we see this in countries all over the world, and I am not talking here about Europe in particular, when easing measures of general isolation and easing measures of social divergence, people sometimes explain this as it is over."
She added:
"It is not over, and it will not end until the moment when the virus is not present anywhere in the world."
